Right now in the lobby at the Drexel, we have a contest going on to celebrate the films of Woody Allen. Allen’s Blue Jasmine, critically-acclaimed and wildly popular with our guests, is currently showing on two screens.
Just fill out an entry form with your name, email address, and Twitter handle (if you’ve got one – ours is @Drexel_Theatre), and you’re automatically entered into a drawing to win one of three prizes:
– a collection of three DVD Blu Rays – Annie Hall, Manhattan, and Midnight in Paris
– a copy of Allen’s book The Insanity Defense, a compilation of his classics Getting Even, Without Feathers, and Side Effects
– a $10 gift card to use on Amazon.com (presumably to watch Allen’s films on Instant Video)

FUN FACT: Woody Allen was born Allan Stewart Konigsberg. At the age of 17, he legally changed his name to Heywood Allen. He went by “Woody” as an homage to big band leader Woody Herman, a jazz clarinetist like Allen.
